The 6-inch Wafer LED is an ultra-thin recessed downlight that is ideal for shallow ceiling plenum applications. Its narrow remote driver box allows for housing-free, quality recessed down lighting. The Wafer LED can be quickly and easily installed from below the ceiling, requiring as little as 2-inch plenum clearance.

Designed for shallow ceiling plenum applications, this product does not require a housing. It features a steel spring clip for easy installation. A 6-inch cut-out template is provided to ensure a correctly sized hole is cut into the ceiling for proper installation of the trim. The size of the hole should not exceed 6 1/4 inches for this product. The Wafer LED is suitable for installation in T-grid and drop ceiling applications, and a 2-inch plenum space is required for the installation of the remote driver box.

The Wafer LED utilizes edge-lit LED technology, which uses a light-guided plate to distribute the light evenly throughout the space. The polycarbonate lens provides even illumination across the area. This product is dimmable down to 10% with most standard incandescent dimmers, as listed.

The Wafer LED can replace a 75W incandescent bulb, providing 1150 lumens, or a 100W incandescent bulb. It is CSA certified to US and Canadian safety standards and is also ENERGY STAR certified.
